Cream gives the denim collar the most warmth — the tonal contrast is soft and the overall effect is the most relaxed of the three. White is the cleanest: the collar detail reads sharply and the piece looks intentionally styled. Slate Grey is the most understated; the denim collar blends into the body tone and the shirt reads almost as a single colour from a distance. All three wear well over fitted trousers, straight-leg denim, or shorts.
